A frustrated Leslie Jones took to Twitter last night to lash out at designers that are refusing to dress her for the premiere of her new movie “Ghostbusters” The comedian/actor said:
“It’s so funny how there are no designers wanting to help me with a premiere dress for movie. Hmmm that will change and I remember everything”
Leslie isn’t the first “curvy” actor to have problems with designers dressing them for major events, her “Ghostbusters” co-star Melissa McCartney had the same problem a few years ago when she needed a dress for the Oscars!
Minutes after lashing out, famed designer Christian Siriano came to the rescue with a simple tweet two-hands-waving emoji. Jones replied with an excited YASSSSSSSSS. Siriano told Huffington Post:
“I love Leslie and I’m a huge fan of her work. I can’t wait to create something special for her to wear. Hopefully I will see her in my studio this week to make something new and exciting… I support all women no matter age or size!”
Kudos to Christian Siriano and Leslie’s star is shining soooo bright right now nothing or noone will be able to stop what is meant!
