The G Smoove Experience

George “G Smoove” McDonald

When it comes to being versed in many areas George McDonald fits the description. A 20+ year veteran of the radio and broadcasting industry, he has worked professionally as an educator and radio personality while serving as a consultant in TV, film and STEM education.  George began his career in radio while attending Morris Brown College in Atlanta, GA.  He started out as an intern At V-103 WVEE and was quickly hired on as a producer on the News and Talk station AM 1340 WAOK.

He has also served as the in-market producer for the Tom Joyner Morning Show and is now the host of his own show, The G-Smoove Experience, on K92.7 WKZJ in Columbus, GA. George also serves on the Omega STEM international committee for his beloved fraternity, Omega Psi Ph fraternity Inc., and is on the national board of directors for Athletes Without Borders, a national non-profit STEM education organization.

George also has a background in education, where he spent 12 years as a Broadcast/Video Production and Digital Media teacher, helping to establish programs at two different schools in Alabama. He is passionate about public speaking and connecting with people and has hosted Men’s Empowerment events. George lives by two sayings; “Master Yourself” and “Attack Your Destiny.”
